1st KITCHEN exhibition was held in Nice (France), from 12th to 21st of April in the gallery Chez Lola Gassin , owned by the representative of Contemporary Art and journalist Hélène Jourdan-Gassin. Photographers-participants: Sasha Samsonova (Kiev, Ukraine), Natasha Gudermane (Paris, France), Bara Prasilova (Prague, Czech Republic) and Anthony Mirial (Nice, France).

PHOTOGRAPHERS

Sasha Samsonova – has gained acceptance as a fashion-photographer before the age of twenty. She has worked for the Ukrainian and Russian leading glossy magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, Sobaka, Stolnik . Permanent photographer of annual events in Kiev such as Kiev Fashion Week and I love Kiev. Audacity – that is how one can characterize her works.

Natasha Gudermane – a graduate of Philology and History of Arts in Riga. Her life was changed by Photography. During the last few years she participated in exhibitions around the world: Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Pekin, New York and Milan. Drawing inspiration from the literature, Natasha uses photography as a way of communication. “My photographies are letters addressed to people I love”, – she says.

Bara Prasilova – the best photographer in Prague in 2009 and 2012 years, according to the Czech Grand Dessein. Bara specializes in fashion photography and portraits. Bright colors, invented characters, mystical atmosphere – that is what Bara shares with her public. Closely worked with the brand Quicksilver. Finalist of New York photo Awards 2012.

Anthony Mirial – is a photographer, who invented his own style named Underground portrait – the original mix of a modern photography and painting of the XVII century. While shooting, Anthony Mirial acts not only as a photographer, but also as a director. O.Marro writes about his works: «Victims of fashion and allegorical characters, rock stars and chimeras with the fallen angels – as if de La Tour and Lewis Carroll found theirselves on the show of Karl Lagefeld».

ABOUT GALLERY

Hélène Jourdan-Gassin took her pseudonym in honor of her grandmother Lola Gassin. From 1984 to 2000, Hélène has organized more than twenty exhibitions of young, ambitious artists and sculptors, as well as the already famous artists (Jacky Coville, Patrick Moya, William Mackenree and others). In 1985 she has founded a Fair of Contemporary Art named Art Jonction International and has been its leader during 15 years. She is a journalist, curator of exhibitions, co-operator of the gallery Marlbourough (Monaco). She strongly supports cultural development of the French Riviera. Her private gallery Chez Lola Gassin in the center of Nice holds from one to three exhibitions per year.
